Grounded in experience. Guided by compassion.
The Rowan Grove was created from a simple belief.
Women are remarkably capable.
Sometimes, through pregnancy, birth, early motherhood or other significant life transitions, life can make that hard to remember.
The Rowan Grove exists to provide a calm, grounded place where women can pause, feel heard, make sense of their experiences and reconnect with what is already within them.
I don’t believe women need fixing.
I believe they need the right conditions to reconnect with their own strength.
That belief shapes everything I offer.
Whether through therapeutic support, Birth Empowerment, Rowan Rhythm or restorative treatments, my role is always the same:
To create the conditions in which women feel heard, supported and more able to navigate their own lives with confidence, connection and self-trust.
My Approach
My work is grounded in over 20 years of experience as a midwife, health visitor and specialist in perinatal mental health, together with further training in therapeutic approaches, nervous system regulation
and restorative practices.
Over the years, I’ve learned many practical skills, but perhaps the most
important lesson has been this:
People are rarely helped by someone carrying their experience for them. They are helped by being listened to, understood and supported while they rediscover their own ability to move forwards. Community is also an important part of The Rowan Grove.
When women come together without judgement, comparison or expectation, they are often reminded that they are not alone. They discover that strength is not something another person gives them—it’s
something they already possess. That is what I hope every woman finds at The Rowan Grove.
Not someone to rescue her. But a place where she remembers she is remarkably capable.
" I believe every woman deserves to feel informed, listened to and supported, whatever her journey looks like."
